Chapter 4: Rebels

  Serafina quickly drank the vial and her skin turned normal again “Thank you, Athena!” Serafina cried. “You're welcome! Remember what I said!” Athena said as she disappeared in a flash of light. After a few minutes, Artemis appeared in front of Sterling and Serafina. “Sterling, what are you doing here with Serafina?” Artemis asked strictly. “Um...we are just talking a nice walk in the forest! Right Serafina?” Sterling said nervously. “Yes!” Serafina agreed “Of course! You are walking in the forest, when you can go to the other part of the forest, the one with beautiful jewelry growing on the plants. Seriously girls, I know you lied. What are you doing?” Artemis said. “Fine if you say so…” Sterling began. “We are going to Planet E13” Serafina blurted out, “why would you go to that awful planet full of males? Artemis asked as a silver aura started to form around her body. “Because you know how we always have a day where we have a warrior to fight the creatures on Planet E13?” Sterling said. “Yes, and how is that an answer?” Artemis asked glaring at Sterling. “Yes, and Serafina no longer can be a warrior to fight Planet E13. So we wanted to secretly go to Planet E13 to destroy there.” Sterling said. “Oh! I don’t understand why you are doing this but I just need to pretend I didn’t see you. Next time just tell me and I can help you.” Artemis replied. Just as Serafina and Sterling was about to leave, Artemis yelled “Wait!” Serafina and Sterling nervously turned. “I forgot to give Serafina this.” Artemis handed Serafina a silver bracelet. “ This bracelet is for good luck. If you are in danger, just tap the bracelet and anything you need will appear to you.” Artemis said. “Thank you Artemis!” Serafina said gratefully. Artemis disappeared in a flash of silver light. Suddenly, the world dissolved around Serafina and Sterling. When they opened their eyes, Serafina gasped. “Where are we?” Sterling said “You are at Mount Olympus! You know, Planet E13’s New York City, 600th floor on the Empire State Building. Athena said “Since the male gods are doing their daily...work, we decided to have a quick goddess meeting.” Demeter said “Let’s start now! Shall we?” Athena said. Athena teleported the girls to a secret room at Mount Olympus. They saw all the female goddess in that room. “My...sister, Artemis, is getting too boastful! She’s acting like SHE’S the one that married that short tempered Zeus and became the Queen of the Universe!” Hera exclaimed. “We should have threw her to Tartarus in chains like the Titans!” Hecate said. “Or let her hold up the sky like that other titan, Atlas.” Athena said. “Or chop her into pieces and throw her into Tartarus!” Demeter suggested. “Since when did you get so violent, Demeter? I still think we can sort this out in a peaceful way.” Hestia said “No!” all the other goddesses said in unison. “It’s just a pity that Selene couldn’t join us because she is still grateful to Artemis. Aphrodite said. “Maybe we just need to curse her followers!” Iris said. “No!” Serafina yelled. “Why not? That will make Artemis get the lesson she deserves!” Aphrodite said “Because, her followers are innocent! You goddesses don’t need more enemies, do something else! Please don’t hurt her followers!” Serafina pleaded. “Fine!” Athena said. “But, Artemis will not have any harvest in the plants!” Demeter said. “She will not be able to give beauty blessings!” Aphrodite cried. “Or any wisdom blessings!” Athena chided. “Artemis will not even be able to perform the simplest magic!? Hecate declared. “Not able to Iris-Message!” Iris said. “So we are supposed to...stand here?” Serafina asked. “Oh, right. Sorry girls, we get over excited. You are already at Planet E13. I sense Conner somewhere around here, but not exactly at this dimension. But I think you could still look around. New York is a that has high-technology. It better than Ares’s tribe of Spartans.” Athens explained. “Wait we didn’t give her our gifts for her journey yet!” Demeter said. Demeter gave Serafina the power to control the plants, Athena gave Serafina the power of wisdom, Hecate gave her the knowledge of potions and a special power Hecate said she will understand eventually, Aphrodite gave her the power of charm speak, Hera and Hestia gave Serafina their blessing. “Thank you, thank you all of you so much!” Serafina said to all the goddess.
